1. Juicer or Blender - Use a juicer, not a blender, unless you want a lumpy soup or a gritty drink!

2. Go Green - Veggie greens are super foods loaded with super nutrients! Especially wheatgrass. Try to add a small handful to all of your juice recipes. But be careful! They aren't tasty, and too much will upset your stomach.

3. Don't Juice These - Avocados and bananas - they clog your juicer unless you have an expensive commercial model. If you want to add these items, simply take your juiced mixture and combine it with avocado or banana in a blender.

4. Juice the Skin - Consider juicing everything! The skin of the veggie and fruit is often the most nourishing. The problem is that the skin is often bitter. So try peeling only 50% of the skin of the carrot. I can't stand any of the rind of citrus fruits, though I know people who juice entire lemons and limes, peels and all. 7. Mix little butter with an herbal baby powder and apply on the baby's bottom. This soothes rash irritation.

8. Sprinkle corn starch on the baby's back. This heals rash problem quickly.

9. Use baked flour as a powder on baby's skin to cure rash.

10. Wipe the baby's bottom with extracts of calendula to cure this problem.

11. Application of cod liver oil or shark liver oil soothes and heals diaper rash.

12. Apply milk of magnesia on the baby's butt to do away with rash.

13. Mix Vaseline with Aloe Vera gel and apply on rashes. This soothes rashes and forms a waterproof coat between the baby's skin and diaper, thereby reducing this rash.

6. Mix 2 grams of the pulp of belleric myroblan, one-fourth teaspoon salt, half teaspoon long pepper and 2 teaspoon honey. Take the mixture twice daily to get relief from cough.

7. Take a glass full of orange juice diluted with warm. This is a useful cure for cough.

8. Daily intake of aniseed tea is an effective home remedy for cough.

9. Gargling with spinach juice relieves cough.

10. Eating garlic at bed time is an effective cure for cough.

11. Mix half spoon of Cuscus grass, 3-4 teaspoon coconut milk and 1 teaspoon honey. Drink the mixture before going to bed at night. This helps to get rid of cough.

To prevent tears when cutting onions, chill the onions for about an hour before peeling, or peel them in a tub of water.  It is the sulfur compounds that is released in the air that irritates the eyes. Cut onions are to be stored in an air-tight condition to prevent oxidization.  Use within one or two days.

Caution

Even though onions have many health benefits, they are also very potent.  As in anything good, always remember to take only in moderation.
